Masen's Nursery

I love how Masen's little nursery turned out. I ordered the letters online, not knowing how big they were. I guess it's better to have too big than too small. The only thing I would do different is paint the walls, but since we are renting, I'll have to live without. The only thing we need now is the baby.

Getting Ready

We have been getting everything ready for baby Masen to arrive. I have had a lot of fun shopping and getting the nursery ready. This time around has been a totally different experience that with my first two babies.
Here are my little helper bees helping me paint the letters that will hang in Masen's room. They are so excited to do anything to help prepare for their little brother.

A Sneak Preview

Here are some ultra-sound images taken at 20 weeks. Usually I have a hard time making out the ultra-sound pictures, and have to have them explained to me. This first one is pretty obvious that is it a BOY! In this one you can see his head and body, and it looks like he is sucking his thumb. That will be a habit we break when he is first born. After having Corynn suck her thumb until she was 5, we know how hard it can be to break that habit later in life.

We can't wait to meet our little man!

Coming Soon...to a crib near us

It's amazing that even the unborn can have a blog of their own. Corynn and Dallin have been anxiously awaiting the starting of this blog so they can write things about Masen. In fact, Corynn came up with the name for his blog. They are the cutest big brother and sister already. They love to come and feel the baby kick, and they fight over who gets to sit next to Mom at church because, for some reason, Masen is always very active during Sacrament Meeting. When they learned that his hearing is developing, they started talking to my tummy, and they even come and kiss my tummy good-night before heading off to bed. I hope they continue to be as great after he is born.
